If you work as a freelancer or contractor on data annotation platforms, tracking your time and pay accurately can be difficult. Many platforms show only task counts or vague summaries, making it hard to know your true hourly rate or total earnings.
This timer solves that. It gives you a real-time view of how much you are earning as you work, tracks your session history over time, and helps you set and monitor financial goals — all without sending your data to any server. Everything stays private and local on your device.
Enter the hourly rate you are being paid in the Hourly Rate field on the Timer page. Your live earnings will be calculated from this rate as the timer runs.
Press Start to begin tracking time. Your elapsed time and live earnings update every second. Use Pause to take a break — your time is preserved. Press Start again to resume.
If you earn per-task bonuses on top of your hourly rate, set the Bonus Per Task amount and click Task Bonus each time you complete a bonus-eligible task. Bonuses are added to your session total.
When you are done working, press Finish Session. This logs the session (duration, earnings, rate, and date) to your history so you can review it later.
Open the Save / Load panel to create or enter a save code. Save codes let you organize sessions by project or client. Your data is saved in your browser's local storage — nothing is sent online.
Go to the View History tab and enter your save code to load past sessions. Filter by day, week, month, or year. See totals, averages, and a chart of your earnings over time.
Set a target amount and deadline on the History page. The app calculates how much you still need to earn and estimates the hours required based on your average rate.
Need to adjust your session time? Click Edit Time to manually set the hours, minutes, and seconds for the current session.
Click Pop Out to open a floating mini-timer window. Keep it visible while you work in another tab or application.
Toggle between dark and light mode using the sun/moon button in the top right corner. Your preference is saved automatically.
Yes. All data is stored locally in your browser using LocalStorage. Nothing is sent to a server or shared with anyone. If you clear your browser data, your sessions will be removed.
Yes. The app is fully responsive and works on mobile browsers. You can even add it to your home screen for quick access.
If you close the page mid-session, unsaved time will be lost. Make sure to finish and save your session before closing. Completed sessions stored under a save code will persist across visits.
Once the page is loaded, the timer and all features work without an internet connection. You only need connectivity to initially load the site.
